OA No. 381/2010 regarding grade pay of Inspector Posts has been allowed by the Tribunal

Dear friends,
Our case regarding  Grade Pay of Inspector Posts, ( OA  No. 381/10) is allowed by the Hon'ble CAT Ernakulam Bench today with a direction to the Secretary (Ministry of Finance) (1st respondent) to take necessary action to upgrade the grade pay of Inspector Posts to Rs 4600 at par with Inspector of Income Tax / CBDT/CBEC, as per the recommendations of the 6th Pay Commission. The Hon'ble Tribunal also observed that this would make the GP of IPs at par with the present GP of ASPs and hence it would be desirable to upgrade the GP of ASPs as well accordingly.

Copy of the judgement will be received shortly. Further course of action may be decided after getting the order copy. Thanks for all your support and cooperation.

Note: Copy of the judgement, after receipt from court will be supplied by email, if desired.
Thanks.
Permanand

  22. Permanad JI, Aapne SSC se jo IP bane hai unlogo ka apne samman wapas lauta diya.Ab koi bhi is department men aane ka koi afsos nahi karega.
You have done a remarkbale job for entire IP community. You have restore the dignity and honour of IP cadre in camparison to Other central Governement inspectors. We have to maintain the same unity to fight for the other genuine and deserving demand. We are facing discrimination in Promotion to ASPO cadre.Other juniors from departmental prmotee sides are being promoted to ASPO cadre who have joined the IP cadre later. There is no uniform rule for the promotion to ASP cadre vis a vis departmental promotee cadidate . Different postures have been adopted by different circle. You have achieved this feat without the backup of our association and other promotee IP. Full credit to you for your best possible effort.
    God bless You.

  35. Dear Permanend jee,
I am indeed glad that your earnest efforts in taking up the Grade Pay issue has fructified with the favourable strong judgement delivered by CAT, Ernakulam Bench.

    Certainly, your effort is praiseworthy.

The Minimum entry level pay for a particular promotional post/grade is also a key issue and can be resolved only with the continued initiative from people like you. You will have an able ally in the form of Shri. T.M. Krishnaswamy, ASP (Vig), CO, Kerala with whom I would request you to establish regular contact.
