Good News regarding upgradation of Grade pay of Inspector Posts w.e.f 01.01.2006

Dear Friends,

Finally, the day has come for which this blog was created I.e upgradation of Grade Pay of Inspector Posts w.e.f 01.01.2006.

Today, with the approval of Department of Expenditure, Ministry of Finance,the Grade Pay of Inspector Posts has been upgraded to Rs.4600 w.e.f 01.01.2006.

This is in compliance to Hon'blele CAT Ernakulam judgement in our OA 289/2013.

    Kudos to you Parmanand ji.... Thankyou for all your efforts for bringing justice to direct Inspectors.... I left the dop in 2014 and joined Income Tax Department through technical resignation....4600 gp was one of the main reasons for leaving dop...Hope I too will get benefit of this decision

    Again anomaly in pay with a promotee senior IP in comparison of pay with junior direct recruited IP. Any solutions.... pls reply

      This will be set right shortly, once MoF issues circular on the basis of Supreme Court judgement. In the meantime, seniors may get stepping up from their next juniors.

      All Inspectors will get at least minimum entry pay of Rs. 17,140 from, 01.01.2006 or the date of their joining. A general order in this regard is expected from MOF.

      What about fixation on promotion to ASP cadre(4600 grade pay) from IP cadre(now also 4600 grade pay)? Will one increment be admissible?
